Robotic Clay Printing
Over the course of the workshop we have developed both a manual and semi-mechanical method for additive clay printing.We used the Function Representation (FRep) to generate the forms that we weill use. After the test, we transitioned to full robotic prints using the KUKA and NACHI robotic arms. Based on the clay mixtures that were tested, we were able to develop a series of prints that can stack on top of each other in order to achieve a height of 70 cm In collaboration with Hazel Ozrenk, Pavlos Symianakis, and Sultan Almutairi
